Our Experience
The price made me hesitant but after a week of use, I'm glad I invested in the Diaper Genie Platinum Pail. The stainless steel construction feels sturdy and robust, reassuring against wear and tear. My initial concern was whether the odor-locking clamps would truly keep my nursery smelling fresh. To my surprise, even when full, there was barely any noticeable smell. It's made my late-night diaper changes much more pleasant.
However, I noticed that the foot pedal sometimes sticks if not stepped on firmly, which can be annoying in the middle of the night. But overall, it's a solid product that does what it promises - contains odors and makes disposal easy.

This is an excellent diaper pail. Very compact and love that you can use it one handed with the foot pedal. I have a newborn and empty it about twice a week and it is way simpler to empty than most. The design is great for keeping smells out. With so many options for diaper pails I wasn’t sure what to choose but am very very very happy with this purchase.
Sharp looking, practical and sturdy. We love how this looks in our toddler's room and it does a good job of keeping the stink inside. We do need to invest in the scent inserts as it can really reek when opened and it has a few bad diapers inside, but it's easy to use, well made, looks great and has been a really nice addition to our life as parents.Would highly recommend as a great value, fitting nicely in any slim space between or next to your furniture.Excellent value - would buy again without
I know people say you don’t really need a diaper genie and that a garbage can will do the same thing. But this is honestly one of the best purchases we have made for his nursery. It fits a lot of diaper, it’s easy to change and the conscience of it is worth it! It also does do a good job at keeping smells away. Of course when you open it you get a whiff sometimes, but nothing is going to stop the stench or baby poop.
I bought this for my daughter at Christmas time last year. Her daughter was born in July. So it wasn’t used until then. Just the other day (3 months after they started using) the lid broke. She reached out to the company ( she heard back within 24 hours) and they are replacing the lid. Great customer service. The product itself is great too. Easy to use and no smell!
Love this. Works great. No smell. Easy to change. Love that it’s tall and I don’t have to bend down to open it.
