My twin grandchildren (almost 4 years old, boy and a girl) loved this playset! I've purchased other track sets with similar snap-together sections. Once you get the hang of it, these are easy to put together and take apart. This set allows for many different configurations. While the price is reasonable, this is not a toy that's going to last forever, so be aware of that. The cars need batteries, but they are durable and relatively fast.
