I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this item! It will make a perfect gift. The size is great for older or younger kids. All the pieces are sturdy and stood up without help. The case is very nice! However, once the child removes all the toys, it will not be easy to put EVERYTHING back in the case. It's a pretty tight fit. My almost-two-year-old loves it! It comes with a carrier/cage, dinosaur map/mat and thin paper book explaining all the dinosaurs and facts about them. (I kept the trees in the box for when he gets older to be safe in case they come apart, but they look study).
