Compared to pricier options, this LEGO City Fire Rescue Boat is a steal at $27.99. For my five-year-old nephew's birthday, I wanted something that'd keep him engaged and wouldn't break the bank. This set delivered on both counts. He loved building it - the instructions were easy enough for his little hands to follow independently. My favorite part was watching him beam with pride once he'd completed it. The boat even floats! It's a bit top-heavy in water, but that didn't stop him from having hours of fun playing firefighter. Minor critique? The lifebuoy and fire extinguisher pieces are quite small; I had to keep an eye out they wouldn't get lost around the house. Overall, though, this set offered fantastic value for money, providing endless imaginative play.
