I was skeptical at first - $34.99 seemed steep for a simple word game magnet set. But my family loves board games and we were intrigued by Ransom Notes' ridiculous premise. After a few weeks of play, I'm glad we gave it a chance. The quality of the magnets is great; they stick firmly to our fridge without falling off mid-game. What I liked most was how it encouraged creative storytelling - my kids giggled endlessly over the absurd ransom notes we'd create together. My only minor critique? Some of the smaller words can be a bit fiddly for little hands, but that's a small price to pay for hours of laughter and fun.
