Best purchase I've made in a while! The Safety 1st Crosstown Slim has been an absolute game-changer for our family. As soon as I unpacked it, I loved how compact yet sturdy it felt. It was so easy to install, and I appreciated that the base foot helped keep it stable. My little one seems super comfortable in it too - he barely fussed when we switched him over from his old seat.
I especially love how it grows with your child. We've used it rear-facing since day one, and now at 18 months, he's still happily riding in it.

First time car seat owner. I bought it so I can pick up my little niece from daycare. Setup was easy, seemingly comfortable, good quality, and easy to adjust for the baby's growth. My sister (her mother) has an expensive car seat which is not nearly as easy to adjust for growth. This one should be good for infants up through little kids. Baby loves the cupholders. Great deal!

I bought this Safety 1st Crosstown Slim just for travel, and I seriously regret it. We normally use a Nuna Exec at home, which installs easily and feels super solid. This one is absolutely terrible. I was trying to install it rear facing, and it never gets tight, whether you use the LATCH system or the seat belt. This car seat is fine if you need a slimmer seat. The only reason I gave it a 4 star is because the other car seat I got that was an all in one convertible seat had seatbelt type latch to attach the the car seat bolt in the car and this one is harder to attach. That is fine if it is going in the car to stay but a little annoying if you are trading it back and forth between cars.
Easy to install and love the fit for my car. Our previous ones left no room in the back seat but putting two in my backseat now still leaves room for someone to sit in the middle.Definitely worth it size wise! The kids say they are comfortable so that’s a bonus.We have a Audi a4 for back seat size reference.
