Not gonna lie, I almost didn't buy this GeoSafari Solar System because it seemed too good to be true - a motorized, working model of our solar system at under $30? But I took the plunge, and I'm glad I did.

First off, assembly was surprisingly easy for an adult like me. It's actually marketed towards kids aged 8+, but my eight-year-old nephew struggled with it initially. Once together though, this thing is impressive. The planets orbit around the sun smoothly, and each one is accurately scaled in size to its real-life counterpart. My personal favorite detail was Mercury's slight tilt as it rotates.

However, I must admit, the Mars rover that comes with it feels a tad cheap compared to the rest of the set. It works fine on smooth surfaces but gets stuck occasionally on our carpeted floor. But hey, at this price point and with all the other great features, you can't complain too much.

Overall, though, this GeoSafari Solar System is a steal. It's not just fun to watch; it's also educational, making it perfect for curious kids (and adults) like me.
