Our Experience
I've tried a few LEGO sets but this Speed Champions Mercedes pack really hit the sweet spot for me. The build was straightforward yet satisfying, and the attention to detail on both the G 63 and SL 63 models is impressive – I'm not usually into cars, but these looked like they could've rolled right off a showroom floor.
The drivers were a nice touch too, though one of them seemed a bit too casual for an F1 racer. Like, dude's driving a million-dollar car in his weekend jeans?
Overall though, it was a blast to put together and race around the house. My only gripe is that the cars are so lightweight they barely make it up my steep staircase – guess I'll have to build them a ramp next!

My grandson (10) loved these. Instructions were clear, build was not too challenging. Well designed and easy to put back together again after he jumped them down my stairs.
The build and detail on the G63 is absolutely top-notch, peak Speed Champions. Without the use of the standard Speed Champions chassis plate, the G63 is full size, detailed, and fun to build. The little details like the AMG logos, AMG Affalterbach T-Shirt on the minifigure and engine cover make this set so enjoyable for an AMG owner. The yellow AMG is awesome as well. The value of this set is through the roof!
Purchased this for my beautiful boyfriend and he loved it!! The details were nicely intricate, and I can't wait to buy mini figures of us to implant into the cars <3
