Took me a while to decide, but I finally picked up this Ashfly pocket microscope for my nephews. They're always curious about the tiny world around them, and I thought this could be a fun way to encourage their curiosity. Plus, with remote learning, I figured any educational tool would be a bonus. After a few weeks of testing it out with them, I'm glad I made that decision. The microscope is super easy for little hands to handle - the 2-inch screen makes it perfect for their size. They love pointing it at all sorts of things around the house, from leaves to stamps, and getting up close and personal with details they'd never noticed before. We bought this for our 8yr old birthday and he has so much fun with it. He goes around looking at the details of things around the house and then explores while out side. With how clear it is he can see all the small rocks hidden in the concrete to looking at fine details of tree bark or leafs. Its so simple to use that our 3 yr old also enjoys using it too. Its so simple to recharge, plug in and it doesn't take long to get full and lasts longer than I expected. There is also multiple LED lights
Better than expected. I brought this for my 5 y/o granddaughter for her birthday. She really likes it. Now my 12 y/o granddaughter wants one. Simple to use. Focus is pretty good. It kept her busy. It's also very portable.
After reading some great reviews, was so excited to order these for my little granddaughters...I could picture them outside looking at everything and ohhing and awwing! Okay, the pics don’t do it justice. Once you figure it out it is SUPER cool to see things so close up and it is so small that we take it everywhere with us to keep the littles entertained. Our daughter is 4 and we love looking at fabrics and things outdoors! Perfect gift idea!
These are so fun! I bought them for my kids’ birthdays along with caterpillars and ladybug larvae to use to watch all the changes as the bugs grow.
