I needed something that could handle daily use and keep up with my kids' imaginative play without breaking the bank. These detachable fake collars from Syhood fit the bill perfectly. They're made of a sturdy material that's held up well despite being thrown into dress-up boxes and worn during vigorous playdates.

What I really liked was how easy they were to attach and detach. My 6-year-old can put them on herself, which has saved me countless minutes of dressing assistance each day. The round neck design also means they don't ride up or fall off easily, even when she's twirling around like a ballerina.

However, I did notice that the Velcro on one of the sets started to fray after about two weeks of heavy use. It's not a deal-breaker, as it still holds well enough, but I might keep an eye on it for future repairs.
