by Play-Doh
I finally decided to try this Play-Doh Sizzlin' Grill Playset after seeing my niece's kids rave about it at our last family gathering. I've always been a fan of Play-Doh myself, so I thought why not bring some nostalgia into my own home?
The grill itself is quite impressive - it's massive compared to the usual Play-Doh sets, and the lights and sounds really make it feel like you're cooking up a storm. My favorite part has been watching my son create these elaborate 'Play-Doh burgers' with the food stampers, then placing them on the grill lid to leave those perfect char marks.
The only minor thing I'd critique is that sometimes the sounds can be a bit too loud for my liking when my son gets carried away with his grilling. But hey, at least it's keeping him entertained!
My toddlers were over the moon about this - they have so much fun. They had the mini grill that made tiny little burgers and ingredients but they wanted MORE lol these ones are a much more believable size than the mini playset. You will enjoy playing with it as well - I recommend getting the jumbo pack of playdough on the side because the two toddlers did argue over the colors because of the respectable size of the ingredients, it takes most of the little tub of any of color for 1 ingredient so
Purchased as a gift for my cousin's son and he has enjoyed it. Good quality and value for everything that you get with it. The size is just right for a toddler/preschooler to use easily and it makes a cute addition to his playroom. It was very easy to put together so he could use it right away. He has reportedly spent hours playing with it and has a lot of fun with it.
My little one loves it! The sounds and everything makes him feel he’s really cooking. Very easy to put together. Only thing I I’ll say I keep the “charcoal” thing closed. That was messy.
Surprised my daughter for her birthday! Best gift
This item is well made and was a big hit for a 5 year old birthday girl - as well as her 8 year old brother! We opted to keep closed the panel to make black “grill marks”, as it blackened fingers (and presumably anything they touched) quite well, and it was not easy to remove with soap and water. Makeup wipes did the job.
